I tried checking all the power connections (I got a 6 pin power feed to the card and the 24 pin plus a 4 pin 12v connector) and memory. I appreciate the suggestion. Its best to just unplug your pc, take a break, watch a tv show or something and then turn it back on and see what happens. My mouse was only momentarily powered when i turned the computer on, then the mouse light went off. I just popped the battery out and am off to buy a replacement.
